How to create a transport request?

1)Extras>Export Projects>(Give the Project name)

In next screen choose what subproject, routines, etc.. you wan to copy then, Export Rules-->Export(Will prompt for file name)

A text file will be downloaded.

In the Target System

Goto LSMW Extras-->Import Projects and give the text file done.

There are 2 ways for transporting LSMW,

1. Export/import

LSMW -> Extras -> Export project

2. Transport request

With this method, you can transport a LSMW project in full (you can not select the objects you want). With this method, the project will be transported as any other SAP object in a transport order.

LSMW -> Extras -> Create change request

Hi,

Go to LSMW

Give the Project, sub project & object..

In the menu..Choose..

EXTRAS -> CREATE CHANGE REQUEST.

While creating the CR...The object will be moved to the CR

Then release the CR and move it to QA..

THanks,

Naren

hi,

this is the one way to do,

Go to LSMW (Give your project, subproject and object) -> Extras > Create change reqeust.

1. go to transaction LSMW in dev server.

2. select tab EXTRAS, in that choose export project and enter the project name.

3. enter the desk top pc file name where the project is stored.

4. Now logon to test server go to LSMW, select tab EXTRAS, choose import and mention the downloaded file name.

5. Project is copied to test server
