while creating an RFC function module, can we use the nested structures . what is the use of using nested structures?

No, we cannot use a nested structure as an RFC FM interface parameter.

Hi jyothsna,

1. RFC is primarily used for communication between two separate servers.

2. So, while communicating, things are expected to be simple and linear,

and mostly in character format.

3. So, if nested structure would be difficult to understand. (the format would be difficult to understand for the other server),

4. Due to this reasons, in RFC, nested structure is not allowed.
