Hi,

GOTO WE19 and test your EDI.

Check this link...

Hi,

Use WE16 transaction and provide the file path and the port there and you can upload the XML file as an idoc into your system for further processing.

Don't forget to use the XML port.

Thanks,

Mahesh.

hi

I manage to process the inbound using WE16. But i dont see the inbound when i try to run the transaction .

In WE02, the status is 64, IDoc ready to be transferred to application.

No filters , No conversion , No version change .

Any ideas ?

Hi,

Execute the program RBDAPP01 by giving the idoc number and it will be processed and you will see a different status other than 64.

Thanks,

Mahesh.

Hello Rejoice

The most important pieces of information are missing:

1.) Is the vendor system a SAP system or a 3rd-party system?

2.) Is you incoming XML message and IDoc-XML or an EDI-XML (e.g. EDIFACT, ANSI.X12, TRADACOM, etc.) or what is its structure like (biztalk XML, ...)?

3.) How does your vendor send the XML messages (HTTP, FTP, ALE/IDoc, ...)?

The simplest scenario could be that you want to link to your vendor via ALE / IDoc. You could save the XML messages on your application server and access them via XML port.

If the XML message <> IDoc-XML you need an EDI converter from external message format -> internal IDoc message format. In our company this is my daily business. For this purpose we use SAP-XI and and EDI converter (Add-On for SAP-XI).

hi Uwe,

1. vendor is not using SAP system.

2. incoming message also XML

3. we use FTP server.

We dont have SAP-XI. The implementation is sender put the file in FTP server. Vendor get our outbound file and process. Again vendor will put acknowledgement (XML file) in FTP server and our site will get the file.

currently i using 2 SAP system to simulate and test the SAP EDI connection/configuration is ok.

Thanks
