How to Add a 'Z' Transaction to the Sap Area Menu

Hello All,

Kindly tell me what is the procedure to add a 'Z' Transaction to the Sap Area Menu.

This is my client requirement......and would be of great help if you can explain me how to do this

As i do not have any knowledge of this earlier.

Use T-code "SE43N".

&, Add the transaction/s.

  1. Goto Transaction SE43 - Area Menu

  2. Click the copy button. Copy from S000 to ZXXX

  3. After copying, click Change (area menu ZXXX)

  4. Double click on Logistics and add in your transaction code in the AreaMenu.

  5. Remembers to Activate it.

  6. Next Goto Transaction SU01 - Maintain users

  7. Type in the user name and click the Defaults button

  8. Type in the area menu (ZXXX) in the Start Menu field.

Check if there is MENU EXIT for that particular SAP Area.

If so, use it by adding the transaction.

Hi Sashi,

I've taken ur reply help in adding a Ztransaction to SAP menu.

When i go to SE43 i'm able to see it.But in the SAP menu its not appearing.

Can you please help on this.

Hi,

you can use SAP menu exit, from transaction code CMOD.

and Create a Project.
