hai
friends , experts, professionals,
first of all thankx fro giving a eye on my article...
i have a small doubt in macros..
which one is correct of both ..below..
rp_provide_from_last p0002 space pn-begda pn-endda.
rp-provide-from-last p0002 space pn-begda pn-endda.
both of them are working fine...
but underscore or hiffen which one is exact..? any one plz..
every guess is rewarded..

There is no difference because rp_provide_from_last or rp-provide-from-last are considered as name of the macro and treated as string.

Both are correct.
The only difference there is related to UNICODE CHECK.
Hyphen are obsolete now so they will give warning in Unicode check. Remember warning and not Error.
So you can continue with them.

i dint feeling satisfaction..so i understoof ghifen is become obsolete so use underscreo..so what i am saying is in all macros..?all underscroe's are preferrable.........?

yes, either put all hyphen or put all underscores but dont use in combinations.

Both r correct. You can use either underscores or hiphens there.

Hi,
RP-PROVIDE-FROM-LAST is more suitable.
By deafault it in sap RP-PROVIDE-FROM-LAST will have.
Refer TRMAC data base table.
