Creating Transport for Entries Upload

Former Member

Dear All,

I'm trying to find if there a way that I can upload my entries into Z Table and create a transport for it to move over.

I actually have a program that can load all the entries into the Z Table from an excel file. However, I could not create a transport on it. The only way that I can think of is that I would have to add 1 entry by 1 entry through SM31. However, that'll be nightmare for me cause there are thousands of records that I need to add in.

Please advice.

Sincerely,

SE

Why then don't you use your report to fill your Z-table and then create a manual transport for it using SE09/10/03 with R3TR TDAT (VDAT/ ...) Tablename?

Hi Shreya ,

First Upload your entries in the Zee table and den u can assign a transport request to the same which can carry the data alongwith it .

Use the path :

se11 => ztable. menu => transport entries -

> assign it to a req no.

check in se09 /10

release.

Hello Sheeram,

I couldn't do Transport Entries in SE11 as that option is disabled.

Do you know why and how can I enable it?

Sincerely,

SE

Hi Shreya,

Goto Utilities->Table maintenace generator.

In the bottom portion of this there is a radi button for recording routine.

Select standard recording routine and save.

Now goto sm30/31.Check if the transport is enabled.
