Comparing Programs

Former Member

Hi All

Problem: I have the same program on 2 different systems of same client - Quality Sys and Development Sys.

While executing with the same test data, both show different outputs.

Query: What might be the reason? How can I fix it?

How can I compare the programs on 2 different systems?

Is there any TCode available to check it out?

Thx

Compare two programs on different systems,

From the ABAP/4 Editor: InitialScreen, choose the menu path Utilities->Splitscreen editor.

Enter the program and two different systems and compare.

You can do onething

Open program in Dev and quality server

Put break point in both sever on same line then try to compare.

If usefull reward points helpfull.....

Hi Vinodh

Its ok now... Thx a lot. But... u have told me like:

When you are in that split screen editor, there you have the option of comparing within system and compare different systems. In your case you need to go with different systems.

With this option, your right window will be the second system that you want to compare. There you will be asked to enter the RFC destination. That was what i mentioned. If you have your second system there, then its fine. if not you have to set that up in SM59.......

Hi,

Can you please check the Transport requests of this? If it is released to quality and after that some modifications has done to the development. It might be one of the reason.
