hello friends,

i am working on a classical report.

now i have a condition that if the value is below a certain value then the colour should be RED or else the colour should be BLUE.

i am using the following code for colour

WRITE : (10) itab-act COLOR 5, '|' CENTERED.

but this is making the whole block coloured,i only want the value to be in RED or BLUE..

what to do for that ????

HI,

use keyword FORMAT INTENSIFIED ON before write statement..

....................

....................

for ex:

format intensified on.

write: 'suresh' color 5.

write:/10 'babu' color 6.

color no's are from 0 -6.

intensified -- to display text as chosen color.

inverse --- to display background on text with chosen color.

if helpful reward some points.

with regards,

Suresh Aluri.
