Analysing the ABAP Dump Data

Former Member

Hi Guys,

I am sure the exception SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC

is quiet easy to understand.

But in my case the program runs in background and yesterday gave me the above dump. I started analysing the dump and found that the syntax:

"insert zm_admin from table itab_ins."

is giving me the error and the internal table itab_ins[] has around 69000 records.

Now can any one tell me how to read or rather decode the dump data ie: value in the itab at the time of dump.

Thanks in advance

Anand

Run the program in the foreground and when dunp happen click on debugging you can see values in the table and other variables. In you case to avoid dump use insert into table from i_tab duplicate key allow. somthing like tack theck sintex in sap help

Look for Chosen variables in the dump, there u'll find variable name and data at the time of dump.
