After making transport from DEV to QA in SCC1, it does not reflect in QA.

Hi,

Yesterday I made changes on my Smartforms and standard texts then I transported in from DEV to QA using SCC1 and it reflected. I tried making changes today again but after executing SCC1 successfully, the changes doesn't reflect on QA system. What could be the possible solution?

Thanks

Assuming DEV and QA is different server, are you sure your change was reflected by executing SCC1?

SCC1 is used to reflect the change in your transport request to other clients in the same server.(if there are clients 100, 200, 300, and your TR is from 100, it will reflect to 200 and 300).

STMS is used to transport your request to another server, in case like from DEV to QA.

Please release your transport request and use STMS to import your request to QA system.

Apologies. I'm confused. I'm just transporting it in the same server but different clients. from client 200 to client 300.

I've attached an image below that my recent change happened today. Tried using SCC1 and it ran successfully however, the receiving client is still not updated.

Former Member Ok, are you sure ticked "Including Request Subtasks" and Untick "test run"? Did you click "Start immediately" instead of scheduling background job?

If you did all that, can you check if there is any authority error with your user in SU53?

Also check the SCC1 execution log. You will be able to see this in SCC3.

Saying that I created a new Standard Text, I also have to use SCC1 right?

Former Member If you did not manually include your standard text into your transport request, use program RSTXTRAN to do it. After that use SCC1 to copy that request to another client.

To use RSTXTRAN, you can refer to this blog. https://blogs.sap.com/2012/08/06/create-transport-standard-text-so10/
