My license expired on May 15, 2020. I cannot start the server, even after backdating the opensuse vm. Is the database license from SAP expired too?
I am able to obtained new license via mini-sap, but unable to start server. Even backdated to before March 30, 2020.
I saw this from Juli dated March 2020, I have this version, is the year incorrect? https://blogs.sap.com/2018/08/30/as-abap-7.5x-ase-license-available/
Any suggestions?

Hi bethangeletti,
from my installation, 7.52 SP04, there is March 31st, 2021 as ASE expiration date, which is yours?
file is located here:
/sybase/NPL/SYSAM‐2_0/licenses/SYBASE_ASE_TestDrive.lic
hope this could help
with best regards,

Thank you for replying! I am now hopeful I have time to get my code out. Next I need to find the proper license file. My license is a different name, I got it from a Julie blog, with WinWord instructions.
I will try to find the file, with name "TestDive" spelled out. See my file below.

After more researching, I am one of the unlucky people with ABAP Dev 7.52 SP04, with a license that expires one year before others with a SYBASE_ASE_TestDrive.lic license.
I got the server working well in Jan, 2020, and have only just used i a few times. Have all ADT tools and was finaly ready, only to discover, it was my DATABASE LICENSE that was hosed, and not my ABAP license.
Is there a generous soul out there that would share their text file with me, so I can atl ease get my code out?
I have spent over 160 hours learning opensuse and getting this done., only so disappointed, t have only used it for four months.
Kind regards, Beth Angeletti

Flavio, perhaps your license was inside of one the .rar files.
I will look for a license file there, I got my file from a rar file with instructions from a Word document, and it has the short (TD) name, instead of TestDrive. If possible, perhaps it is "legal" to share your text version with me? Not sure if that's okay. again, thanks - Beth
