ABAP lowercase entries in tables

When we make entries for tables through se11 or se16 in lowercase but DB is taking in uppercase how is it?

Is there any option(menu) available in standard sap?

Hi Lokesh,

What ever the field, in which you entering data. Select domain name of that field.

In domain of that field you get a check box of name ' Lower Case'

Check this check box.

Then you will get the entries in tables in specified case in which you are entering data.

Other way, you can also change code in your TMG.

Dear Lokesh,

This is a setting in the domain of a field.

The field is created with reference to a data element and data element is created with reference to a domain.

In the Defination tab of the domain, there is a checkbox Lower Case.

If this checkbox is checked then it will cosider the input of data as it is, else it will be converted to Uper case and will save in the database.

Press F1 on the checkbox Lower Case, you will get a clear idea.
