With the release 1811 of Business ByDesign the new html5 frontend client introduces a new feature for the Endusers to create his/her own dashboard pages.

To offer this feature for the Endusers, the Keyuser has to assign the workcenter "Insights" via the Application and User Management" workcenter.

After the "Insights" workcenter is added you will see it in the navigation structure (left side) and you will see the OWL "Manage Dashboards" inside the workcenter.

In this OWL the Enduser is able to create, change (the title and the description) and delete personal dashboards. If the Enduser creates a new dashboard page he/she will see it in his/her list of the OWL.

On the selected dashboard page in this list, the dashboard could be deleted, changed (title and description) and/or pinned. Pinning means that this dashboard page will be part of the navigation structure of the workcenter "Insights".

If the dashboard is not pinned, the only way to navigate to it is the link on the "Manage Dashboards" OWL.

Once a dashboard is created via the OWL the Enduser could also define the content of it via pressing the pencil icon. This will trigger the navigation to the newly created dashboard (like the link) and open it personalization mode by default.

Once in personalization mode the Enduser can use the regular personalization to define the content of the page like, adding Mashups, KPIs, Quicklinks, Reports, Lists and defining the layout of the page, changing labels, etc...
