Hi Guru's
Just completed a homogeneous client copy (SAP ERP 6.0/Oracle 10.2.0.2) from SUN Microsystems to IBM AIX 6.1 which was a success.
I'm yet to overcome two challenges
1) I've configured TMS & it is working fine. Unfortunately I'm unable to list old transports in the import queue though I have copied old transports (cofiles, data, sapnames) to the shared transport directory /usr/sap/trans. I did post system copy activities including SE06 & selecting Database Copy or Database Migration
2) I cannot do imports on the command line. tp commands are not working. See error below
QAS:qasadm 4> tp showbuffer QAS
This is tp version 372.04.08 (release 700, unicode enabled)
E-TPSETTINGS could not be opened.
EXIT
ERROR: System : Parameter SAPEVTPATH not set. Batch jobs cannot be started.
Error in TPSETTINGS: transdir not set.
tp returncode summary:
TOOLS: Highest return code of single steps was: 0
ERRORS: Highest tp internal error was: 0208
tp finished with return code: 208
meaning:
error in transportprofil (param missing, unknown,...)
QAS:qasadm 5>

Hi,
Check the note carefully;
Note 28781 - Central transport directory NT/UNIX

Hi,
You need to provide the transport profile path as well, while viewing the buffer.
Run the command as <sid>adm
tp showbuffer <SID> pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL
And let us know the output.

Thanks Shrikishan
The command below gives returns the transport buffer
tp showbuffer QAS pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_DEV.PFL
How do I put SAPEVTPATH in the path so that I don't have to specify the full path as in the above command ?
Any clue about including old transports in the import queue ?
