Scalability of EP 6.0 with respect to Login & Session Mgmt &SSO Connections

Hi,

How far is EP 6.0 single sign on connection along with the Login & Session Mgmt solutions delivered with the portal scalable when it comes to large no. of protal users upto a tune of say 50,000 to 70,000 ?

Wow, that is a huge user base. Are saying 50-70K simultaneous logins?

I don't think/know of anyone who's done such as large test...We did stress testing using Mercury LoadRunner and that is my only suggestion/contribution..

The total no. of users will be around 50-70K but simultaneous logins will be around 3K.

Any suggestions?

We stress tested up to around 2K simultaneous logins with LoadRunner. It scales pretty well actually.

Again my advice is to try it for yourself, also you will learn so much from the the test (i.e. when your heap fills up, how long GCs take, etc...)
