Question on BPFin BPC

Dear Experts,

I am new to SAP BPC.

I am Doing a project. I Need help.

I have Three users 1) Sr.Sales Manager 2) Sales Manager and 3) Sales Executive.

I have created a three BPF's for each user.

I am assigned a Sales infomation input schdule in Sales Executive's BPF.

Once the Sales Executive enter data in to Sales input schedule & this sales nput schedule should be approve by Sales Manager and same sales input schedule should be forward to Sr.Sales Manager for his approval.

How can we forward reports or input schedules from one user to another for approval and finally store in Database.

Please help me.

I suggest you to use workstatus instead of BPF.

1.Submit-Sales Exc

2. Approved -Sales manger

3. Approved-Snr Sales manager

hi

as the 1st two tell you you can setup the owner and reviewer and also the approver in the entity dimension in console

and after this you can setup the work status also in the console

to use reviewer menu you must setting on the BPF and dimension entity

on the BPF on the define step, select modify and check enable reviewer. So when u complete step one, the status would be review required and step two wont be open until its been approved on menu reviewer

on the dimension entity u put the user on the owner and the user of reviewer on reviewer propertise

ex: put the salesmanager user name on member SalesManager owner properties and put the Srsalesmanager user name on member SrSalesManager Reviewer properties

so when user name sales manager cmplete the first step the menu reviewer whould be open when srsalesmanager open that BPF by clicking the box to complete the step

this was a brief explanation, hope u can use it

If you want to use BPF you can use reviewer menu for the approval

its really usefull

Now i have to assgin "Sales" Process Steps to User-1 & "Departments" Process Steps to User-2
