Problem with chinese characters not displayed correct

Hi,

I have a problem that if I log onto a chinese SAP MDMP system with language ZF the characters are displayed incorrect.

E.g. the characters are not the typical # sign, but other strange characters like

No, the installation of the East Asian language pack of Windows is not necessary to display the correct chinese characters.

Are you using the correct language?

ZF is traditional chinese (used in Taiwan), ZH is simplified chinese (used in China).

In windows you need to have the East Asian language pack installed (Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Languages -> Install files for East Asian language) as well.

Hello Kristian,

please switch the SAPGUI to I18N mode: ALT+F12 -> Options -> I18N mode swithc on.
