OpenOffice integration

Hi

The info about the newest testdrive for linux says:

"...and JavaGUI are included in the package. It also provides an application example for SAP Records Management that demonstrates how the technology preview can be used to achieve basic integration between JavaGUI and OpenOffice / StarOffice."

What is basic integration?

Is it for example possible to use OpenOffice instead of excel in ALV display variants?

Best regards

Thomas

Hi,

I didn't know this

( don't use much that functionality )

I assume that basic integration is due to this:

Prerequisites
● Installation of Microsoft Office or StarOffice.
For more information about Office versions supported by SAP see note 722513.
