Multiple Application Evdre Report

Hello,

I have just created a report that contains two evdre functions. I linked these evdre functions to two different applications.

When I refresh my data, I only get the data from the current view application. Is it possible to get data from both applications in this report?

Has anyone already encountered this problem?

Hi Lander,

I have done frequently in the past without any problems.

I also just tried it with 5.1sp5, also without any problems.

Could you please try the following from a blank sheet:

- select app1, and create an evdre which retrieves data

- go to an empty column, select app2, and create an evdre

See if this works, if it works, than there might be something wrong with your report and you have to find the differences.

You probably need to check the EVCVW formulas are pointing to the correct App names. One way is to overwrite these with hard coded values just to check the EVDRE is picking up the data from the applications.

Make sure no security issues across the applications are preventing you from retrieving data where you may have reduced security on one of the apps (e.g. where entity is restricted by application for example)
