Issue: Mitigation control id request description in Search Request shows 000

Hi All,

The configuration done w.r.to the MC request is that a new request type(Request id 127) in EUP is created and mapped to the MC Maintenance workflow accordingly.

Additionally, I don't think there are any configuration parameters w.r.to this Mitigation control maintenance request present in configuration guide to be maintained accordingly.

Even after doing all these but still this issue exists.

FYI - Already request type ids 125 & 126 are automatically considered by the system for creation & updation MC ID. Also, assuming there is no relevant action required for these requests, left it empty.

Please provide inputs on how else this issue can be addressed.

Hi Arun,

Actually your query is not so clear. Correct me if my understanding is not correct.

What I understood is in SEARCH REQUEST screen for MITGATION CONTROL MAINTENANCE workflows request description is empty.

I assume you have setup user defined request types for MITGATION CONTROL MAINTENANCE with corresponding Mitigation Control Maintenance Process ID SAP_GRAC_CONTROL_MAINT. and also maintained proper request type descriptions as well but still description in SEARCH REQUESTS is 000.

You need to raise this to SAP as this is bug in current versions

Hi All,

Here is the update from SAP on this issue.

Its not possible to have Mitigation Control Request type description. Actually the normal

Access Request is having an attribute to identify the request type but in case of Mitigation Control workflow we do not have such attribute. So it will be a huge effort from dev side to have this functionality on place and cannot provide you in between SPs.

They advised to raise this idea on idea place so that our product owners can review this idea and process further.

Hi Arun,

I suggest you can ask SAP what is the rational behind this different behavior for Mitigation Control Maintenance and EAM log review workflow as all other different type of workflows and request types are supported and it cannot be that behavior for Mitigation Control Maintenance to be different as from customer point of view this is not correct behavior.

SAP has updated with the following information for this issue.
