Hi Experts,
How does GRC work with concurrent employment?
I.E How does GRC manage an individual who has one user ID with multiple personnel numbers assigned to different positions within the org structure?
Cheers,
Sam
For anyone interested, I found the following SAP Help to be pretty helpful in resolving this matter:

Hi Sam,
Would you please elaborate your query in detail with the scenarios?
Normally, Individuals requesting access changes will experience many enhancements to the AC product in GRC 10.0 such as the ability to include multiple selection criteria in the user access request process (e.g., user group, personnel number, department and organizational information).
With the help of various fields' multiple selection option we can navigate further to drill down the information.
Kindly furnish some of the screen shots where you are encountering with the issues.

Hi Ameet,
Thanks for your response.
Our current situation is that we have:
When we assign a new role to the position which belongs to pernr holding the 105 infotype, PFUD automatically transfers the roles to the SAP user ID.
Our issue is that when assigning the same role to the other postion, PFUD does not transfer the role to the SAP user ID.
Is this due to the fact that this pernr does not hold the 105 infotype?
How then do roles assigned to the second position get assigned to the user?
Hi Sam,
Thanks for providing your concerns in detail.
Yes, in the mentioned case: the roles can then be assigned to the positions, jobs, work centers, or superordinate organizational units. And you are right about the Infotype criteria as well.
PFUD can assign the roles the user based on the SAP user ID, which is unique. To assign the roles to the other user, it could be done manually. Because one perner is assigned to an unique SAP user ID so auto assignment of roles can be done to the associated user ID only.
I guess, you also have explored the solution (from the link provided) for this issue. Thank you for sharing the useful links.
