I have a basic question on change pointers.
What is a change pointer ? IF its deactivated any price change that which we do are not registered in WIND table ..
In consequence to this we are not able to run assortment list change function..
Thanks in Advance,
I configured Change pointer in my ECC5 with LFA1,LFB1 and LFM1 table -fields ,so that if vendor get create or change in ECC5 interface get triggered and update ECC6 .But it is also updating LFBK(Banking table) in ECC6 . Can anyone tell me why change pointer is capturing LFBK values when i haven't configure LFBK .
In order to generate change pointers, you have to configure the table fields for the message type using BD52. Then change pointers will be captured in tables BDCP/BDCPS or BDCP2 with EhP4.
WIND table is a Document Index table for Automatic Document Adjustment. If the condition price is changed after the document has been created, this index table helps to apply the condition changes to the document. This is an optional step in change pointers.
