Hi friends,
I want to seach for a request of particular program in se09,bt i dont know the req no. or description. So can u tell me any other way to search that particular request for that program in se09?
Hi,
You can do searching for the request of a program in SE09 based on the USER.
Give the USER-ID in the USER field.
The USER refers to the userneame using which the program (you are searching for) was created.
In the "Request Status", check the box "Modifiable" & click "Display".
If the request is already released, then check the box "Modifiable" also & click "Display".
The obtained list is the list of requests created by the USER along with the description.
In that you can search for the required request based on the transport request description.
For searching you can use "Ctrl+F" and give the search term.
Hope this helps!
best regards,
Thangesh

from SE38 enter the program name, and follow the menu path
utilities->versions->version management
it will list out all the request numbers for the program, double clicking on the request number will take you to details of the request.
