Dear Alan,

please check our Product Availability Matrix, available on the SAP Service Marketplace. You can reached it via:

-> SAP solutions

-> SAP Application Components

-> SAP R/3

-> SAP R/3 4.6C

-> [TabStrip] Database Platforms

Then scroll down to: SAP KERNEL 4.6D_EXT 64-BIT Maintained until 31.12.2009 -> Oracle.

For SLES8/9 you will find the following entries: Oracle 9.2/10.2 on SLES8/9

For SLES10 you will find this entry: Oracle 10.2 for SLES10

Are you going to use 32bit or 64bit systems?

Kernel versions of CI and application servers must be the same, so if you run 4.6D_EXT on your CI you must run the same on the application servers.
