i am not afraid of criticism or say i don't allow anybody or do any such things which leads to criticism,,,,, i am the way i am....follow whatever comes first....which is been left leave it for a while so that the current or the future does not get effected.
I suppose u would also agree no one do a super planning on making the resolution...it's all in our mind and we do it when it comes accordingly...we don't have to think much of it...
Hi Manju,

As with previous years and also several times during the year I gave up smoking.
This time I have a bet on with my sister to see who lasts the longest. If I loose then I have to go to an art gallery with her and her friends. If I win then I get a remote controlled helicopter. Stakes are very high this year!
My brother-in-law is also participating but that is just theoretical so there isn't even a defined prize for him if he wins and he takes minimum losses for loosing (will pay for the art gallery trip but does not actually have to go with himself). Today is the 3rd of January and he is already starting over on a clean slate for the 4th time this year.
Anyone else want to give up smoking or debugging again this year as well? Come on Amit Güjärgöüd.. 🙂
Cheers,
Julius

Hi Julius,
Based on the bets you have on, I suspect if you end up going to an Art Gallery you might be very desperate for a cigarette when you have finished!!!
I never smoked myself so I don't understand the addictive nature of it, but I am often struck by the different language my sister used when she was sopping. For years she said she was giving up cigarette and finally she started to say was going to stop smoking. Giving up always has the sound that you will at some point go back on them, whereas stopping (to me anyway) sounds like that's it!
I hope you get your helicopter but if not, the savings you made in the few weeks off the cig's, you might well be able to afford to buy it yourself.
With regards
Gill
I was not aware of any good art? Are there galleries were it is allowed to reorg, debug, upgrade or enhance art to make it better or more useful in particular? There is a HUGE scope for it I am sure but it seems to me until now that it is not allowed. Art galleries, with all the halls and corners and places to hide, would make a great place for a Gotcha paint-ball party - perhaps combined with remote controlled helicopters which are also armed with paintball guns.
Super idea!
Regarding smoking: I stopped many times. It was the women and the beers in summer which was the biggest hurdle. Giving up smoking in winter is quite easy - standing in front of an office building with the smokers makes it and you look like an unemployment bureau and I only ever went once into one of the smoking cabins at an airport.
I only smoked casually in the evenings, but want to get rid of that as well. But those are the only ones I miss as well.. 😞
I will be strong this time!
Julius
