In Sochi, on September 26, 2016 SAP will open innovation zone on the territory of Federal Children Center (FCC) Orlyonok.
Companies have signed Memorandum of cooperation at the International Investment Forum «Sochi-2016».


Training based on the program "Digital enterprise of the future" will be held in the SAP Innovation Center. The main purpose – is to transfer knowledge of the advanced world developments, to develop necessary skills, to stimulate students interest towards the design-thinking basics and self-study of technologies, to create samples and prototypes in IT. The program targets 10-17-year-old pupils.

«We are interested in creating innovation zone on the territory of FCC Orlyonok, which will enable children to gain access to information resources, to work with the latest software, to get acquainted with the advanced developments and increase the level of education in the IT field, which is especially important in an era of rapidly evolving technologies", - noted Aleksandr Dzheus, Managing Director, FCC Orlyonok.


In addition to the educational program, Days of Technology, competitions, excursions will be held on the basis of the camp, as well as performances by the best IT specialists in the world. We also plan to develop similar cooperation with other projects in the framework of regional and federal education programs for pupils”, -  said Andrej Bievetski, Managing Director, SAP Labs CIS.


Natalia Ivanova, Chief Operating Officer at SAP Labs CIS, emphasized, it is very important for company that the educational program was organically integrated into life of FCC Orlyonok. "For example, in a botanical garden on the territory of the center  you can use light or humidity sensors then based on that information try to create training scenarios for agriculture. During the sea competitions, races or football in FCC Orlyonok we can demonstrate how SAP applications are work for great sport (regattas, F1 etc) and teach children to create their own programs, "- she said.
