This action-packed week, conducted by PCM product and solution management and Regional Implementation Group (RIG), provided invaluable "hands-on" exercises and information that got our ecosystem ready to hit the ground running with PCM 10.0.

We installed our latest technology, PCM 10.0 in the Amazon Cloud and each individual participant had their own server for this hands-on training.

This Elite enablement workshop covered a large variety of topics including:

  • SAP BusinessObjects Profitability & Cost Management Strategy, Positioning and Market Update
  • BusinessObjects BI integration with PCM 10.0
  • ERP and NetWeaver BW integration with PCM 10.0
  • BWA in-memory scenarios with PCM 10.0
  • Profitablity with SAP HANA
  • Time-driven profitability models
  • New Bill of Materials (BOM) functionality in PCM 10.0
  • FIM integration with PCM 10.0
  • Advanced tracing with Wily Introscope
  • Advanced modeling and architecting for performance

Some highlights from this amazing week:

  • The 42 participants traveled from Australia, Argentina, The Netherlands, Denmark, India, England, US and Canada
  • Executive Guest Speakers – Steve Lucas (“what is SAP today”), Stephanie Buscemi (“competitive analysis”) and Fred Laluyaux (“beating the competition and selling PCM 10.0”) – and a quick intermezzo by Kurt Bilafer on Ecohub
  • Live Video Conference with Paul Ferro and Frantz Guionnet in Paris
  • 60 PCM 10.0 instances running in the Amazon Cloud
  • 42 iPad 2’s used to display exercises (in lieu of printing 30,000 pages of exercises)
