A newly released report by the CBI entitled 'Playing Our Strongest Hand: Maximising the UK’s Industrial Opportunities' suggest that the UK can boost its economy by exploiting a competitive advantage over its rivals in several key areas. Amongst these areas are Agri-Food, Creative Industries and Knowledge Intensive Business Services (KIBS) beings amongst highligted areas.
The message is that to help drive export growth by 2020 it is essential that the UK focuses on where best to compete, based on our competitive advantages and future global opportunities. The organisation said that if the government adopts the right approach, it could boost exports by up to £30 billion
