Coming to TechEd for the first time ever? Excited? Prepared to make the most out of it? Me too!

Already as a kid we all certainly looked up at the clouds to find faces, creatures and the funniest cloud patterns overall. At TechEd&&d-code this year, we greatly have the opportunity to follow up on our creative childhood and, aside from others, gain deep insights into the cloud and big data. In other words, the chances are high that you will attend one or the other “big data” session, even if you randomly attend a session from, for example, the Data Management and Modeling (DMM) track.

Every newcomer will wish to attend all the interesting sessions and have enthusiastic chats with all the exciting experts and fellow-newcomers, if only time permits.

So, here I would like to take over the advice from a colleague for Las Vegas:

  1. Select sessions based on the business domain for your big data problem (Eg: customer analytics, supplier demand planning...etc.)
  2. Select some sessions that give you jump start implementation advise

If you are focusing on advanced customer analytics for your structured (ERP/CRM…etc.) or unstructured (social media, email…etc.) customer data, provide personalized engagement to each individual customers out of millions, and jump start your implementation journey then I highly recommend you to attend my big data hands-on session(2 hr.).
