Ancile have created a very useful collector tool which will help customers troubleshoot errors in SPP.

I have placed instructions for it's use in below KBA.

1787379 - FAQ: How to collect logs and traces for SAP Productivity Pak by Ancile

The two most important logs when dealing with issues coming from the server is the ServerErrors.xml file and Collab file.

These should be checked before creating a Support message because many times, after we have asked for them the problem is clear.

You can also find these files in below mentioned locations without using the collector tool.

For 4.3 and above:

##Servererrors.xml log in Collaboration\www\uPerformWS\log\

##CollabConsole.txt from \\Collaboration\logs

##Gilog.txt from  \\Collaboration\logs
