This year’s SAP Global Partner Summit was prefaced by the first ever Digital Marketing Leadership & Innovation Day.

On Sunday, individuals from over 60 different partner organizations arrived in Orlando a day early to take part in an afternoon dedicated to upskilling their marketing prowess.

The agenda included a panel of sales and marketing experts from SAP and partners, itelligence and NIMBL, which discussed how the customer experience has evolved with digital transformation and how to effectively market to the modern buyer. The discussion also spanned nurturing customers for greater brand loyalty, how to drive pipeline and revenue, and delivering a superior customer experience throughout the lifecycle.

After the panel discussion, the session offered three guest speakers:

  • Brian Moran, Founder & CEO, Small Business Edge

  • Kate Bradley Chernis, Co-Founder & CEO, Lately

  • Marlon Doll, Video Marketing Strategist and Founder, Vireo Video

Brian’s SME focus, combined with the social expertise of Kate and Marlon’s best practices around videos, made for a great combination of marketing expertise that had partners completely engaged.

The afternoon wrapped with an innovation session that provided partners with some hands-on experience around social selling. Each small group of partners was ‘hosted’ throughout the day by representatives from various partners of the Global Partner Marketing organization, providing an opportunity for interaction and 1:few mentoring on the topics covered.

Overall, the day was a great success, and partners and SAP executives alike had very positive things to say about the event, including:
