Deloitte Consulting Product Services LLP in North America

Deloitte Consulting has been an active SAP Business All-In-One partner for many years with solutions covering multiple industries in North America. Deloitte is also a 2016 Pinnacle Award Winner and has been an early-adopter of the SAP S/4HANA 1610 release. Deloitte recently qualified four new SAP S/4HANA for SAP Business All-In-One solutions covering various aspects of the Oil & Gas industry needs.

  1. D-DrillS (Deloitte’s O&G Preconfigured Solution for Drilling) addresses the unique logistical & financial requirements related to on-shore & off-shore drilling operations.

  2. DOSS (Deloitte’s O&G Preconfigured Solution for Oil Field Services) addresses the broad range of service providers who provide logistical and technical services to oil field drilling operators.

  3. D-UpS (Deloitte’s O&G Preconfigured Solution for Upstream) addresses the complex business process related to extracting hydrocarbons from below the surface and delivering them to refining operators.

  4. D-DownS (Deloitte’s O&G Preconfigured Solution for Downstream) then addresses the multiple business process related to transportation, distribution, and sale of those refined products (fuels, natural gases, lubricants, various petro-chemicals, etc) that all come from hydrocarbon products extracted “upstream”.

Deloitte shared their commitment to this packaged approached with the following statement.

The Deloitte product package team also found the qualification process to be simple, timely, and collaborative.   They were excited that the number of leads, inquires, and demand for demos had substantially increased.

SAP Japanese partner SCSK completed SAP qualification process in just one week

The SAP Partner SCSK worked in close collaboration with the SAP qualification team and received strong support to achieve an SAP-qualified SAP S/4HANA for SAP Business All-In-One solution – the first qualification in the Japan market.

SAP team and the SAP Partner, SCSK utilized the SAP Best Practices for SAP S/4HANA for SAP Business All-In-One 1610 version for Japan localization. Although they faced difficulty to catch up with the SAP S/4HANA simplification list, the solution upgrade was simple and straight forward.

Even though SCSK has deep experience in building package solutions, the SAP qualification process helped them to build their solution faster by leveraging SAP Best Practices to achieve an official SAP-qualified solution in a timely fashion.

The  qualification process for SCSK and SAP launched on Feb 28th, and the solution was formerly qualified on March 6th. They were able to showcase the solution in a press release starting demand generation activity almost immediately.
