What's new around our SAP Community Groups

It has been a while since our last update on our SAP Community Groups. 

Since our last update we have launched a new Integration group, and the Application Development and SAP Builders group were merged into the new Application Development and Automation group.  We have also started many new location groups, you can check them out to see if there is a group near you. 

We re-launched the Coffee Corner group, as the new Community Corner group. 
The Coffee Corner discussions are of course still alive, and we added a new blog post board to the group. Come join us there, the topics are not always necessarily work or community-related. @Marian_Zeis for instance recently shared how he built a raised bed with free barn wood 😊 

And sometimes, we have groups that for various different reasons need to be sunset. 
The following groups below will all be sunset as of June 30th, 2025:

The way the sunset process works, is that we will create a new read-only "Archived Content" area of the Community that we will move the entire group and its content to. This means that all the content of the inactive groups will still remain in the public community, and can be found both by search and by navigation. Sunsetting groups will therefore also not affect any community member's reputation, as all content you have published to any of the sunset groups will remain in your profile.

One of the most important aspects of this sunset process, is that it will allow us to be able to play more with the groups concept. We can start new groups, test concepts together with you, and see if they work. If the groups don't get the traction, or engagement, we had hoped for, we simply move them to the Archived Content area and move on to try something else instead. We are open for ideas 🙂
