Welcome to the very first edition of the platform-exclusive SAP Community Voice newsletter!

As announced weeks ago, we have spent the last few months phasing out our email newsletter, moving its content to this What's New area. Now, with this edition, SAP Community Voice has found its new, permanent home on the community site!

The purpose of the newsletter hasn't changed. We still aim to highlight popular posts in the community, make you aware of important updates, draw your attention to upcoming events, and, in general, help you get the most out of your SAP Community experience.

So read on and let us know what you think in the comments. We can make adjustments based on your feedback, so that your voice helps influence SAP Community Voice.

New Policy for Using GenAI Tools When Creating Community Content

Members are increasingly using Generative AI (GenAI) tools to help create content on SAP Community. To help our members distinguish this content from posts that other members have written solely on their own, we have updated our FAQs and rules of engagement explaining that members must indicate when they have used GenAI to help with content creation. For convenience, here is the entry from our rules of engagement: If you want to publish content that was helped/created by GenAI, you must add the user tag GenAI Assisted Content. For content where it's not possible to add a user tag (e.g., answers), you must include this statement: "GenAI was used to help generate this content." Our moderators will enforce this rule when they discover AI-generated content without the tag or statement.

Visit Our New Groups and Pages

Three weeks ago in another What's New post, I mentioned that I would start announcing new groups and topic pages in SAP Community Voice -- and that's exactly what I'm doing now. Since I published that post, we have added two new location groups: Luzern, Switzerland, and Brisbane, Australia. We also have added a new sub-topic page: Security and Compliance for SAP S/4HANA. Check them out!

Participate in Events That Interest You -- in Person and Online!

As mentioned above, we have a new Brisbane group. Did you know there's also an SAP Inside Track happening in that city on July 12? While many location groups have their own event boards (helping you to find activities happening close to you), our Events section also lists a variety of online meetings relevant to SAP Community members, such as SAP CodeJam and SAP Inside Tracks activities, as well as fun, informal meetups. Other upcoming events include What's New with SAP Datasphere in Q2, 2024? on July 17 (an educational online event) and SAP Inside Track Cairo (Egypt) 2024 on July 20 (an in-person session).

Updates About Enhancements to SAP Community

Earlier this week, I published another What's New post about features we rolled out to the site based on member feedback. To summarize: We've added back content views, made replies easier to find/read, put more details in notification emails, and introduced other improvements. If you missed that post, read about these latest enhancements.
