While you were probably (at least we hope) enjoying some well-deserved time off during the winter holidays, we have been busy and have just released the following enhancements to our SAP Community.
There had previously been a sort option "Creation Date" in the Product and Technology boards. This sort option has been added to Groups now. So, when viewing discussion threads within Groups, users have the option to sort by "Creation Date." While there has always been a sort option for "Most Recent," this does not equate to the original creation date of the thread. The "Creation Date" option is now available within the Sort By drop-down list.
Have you ever absorbed by a blog or discussion content and wished you could be notified of any and all responses and comments at the push of a button? Well, now you can. A subscribe button now appears on the top-right of the respective content. No need to fumble around in a drop-down list. You want it, just hit the button and its yours. All the notifications when comments/answers are posted to a blog/discussion are now yours!
Time for posted events is typically shown in the time zone determined in the user's profile. However, what if the user is not logged in? No, there is no need to panic. With this enhancement, whether the user is logged in or not, the event time will be shown based on the user's browser time zone setting.
It's always a good idea to know where one is at any given time. It ensures we act responsibly and correctly. No less so in the SAP Community. This is why we have delivered a new floating indicator to let users know if they are on a page for which there are restrictions. Initially, the floating indicator will be used in the Partner groups, including the SuccessFactors group. It will also be rolled out to closed groups as well (groups that require a user to join).
