The change is really good. The look and feel of the landing page and the profile page is great. It would be good to work on this.

I do not have 'Show All Reputations' hyperlink on my profile.

Things i liked:

1. The new UI is amazing and well structured

2. The Search Engine powered by HANA is fast

3. All the elements on the page are nicely spaced out and easily legible.

Things i would like to see:

1. The universal header on each page as i get lost sometimes not being able to go back

2. Some of my blogs from the ITS space arn't showing. I don't know why.

3. Every time i open a blog, all the images in it are broken. Would like it if that is fixed.

4. When we hover over the name of a person, the short pop-up profile with a little bit info about the person would be nice to see, like in the current SCN.

Layout of the new site is impressive. It is not overloaded.

I managed to get the reputation data shown by accessing #reputation

Here some comments regarding the new SCN.

• It looks very clean and organized. Matches the layout with all the new HANA content.
• I would like to see a bit of information too, when I hover over a user account
• As far as I can see, pictures in blogs are no longer "clickable", so I can't see the content in its original size. Especially when reading about a past webinar or presentation that's a not very good.
• The content row in the middle is not very wide. There's a lot of space wasted left and right and some of the content is cut (especially when looking at the archive).
• I did send a direct message as a test to a colleague. I couldn't find it in the actuall message that was written to me though. Only in the mail was it visible. There seems to be no history either.
• I can create Chats in the messages part. But I only see updates if I manually update the site.

I found searching for a keyword easy, but then going back and opening a question was not intuitive.  If you don't find what you are looking for, there should be an ask a question option, or did I miss it.

o Looks

o Browse the community

o Coffee corner -- although if everybody add content only interesting for a small group. It will soon be not interesting any more

Things I miss/not like/wondering

o The generic search. It also includes pages from SAP.com (marketing). Not clear who wrote the content and what type of content. Also not clear where the content is coming from (community, marketing, help? etc,)

If you search from a community web site it looks different

o the community web sites is a bit simple. It would be usefull too have an overview of the most used tags for the specific community web site.

o the tags.I don't see the use of it. Not visible in search result also not as filter. What tags are used. If you post in a community is there then an auto tag for that community?

I liked the clean view and settings but somehow not able to see "My Content" updated with badges. Am i missing an option to select badges just like present version of SCN?.

• Editor with document upload functionality.

I found that for all the older blogs, all the comments that was part of the blog is not present now.

I can find only few latest comments. It would be great if we could retrieve all the comments that was part of the Blog.

ii. Landing Page

Its good looking profile page. But still taking time to adjust with new design. SCN has changed its community site many times in last 4-5 years. Each time a new site is released for public to use, its new learning task for us to learn. I liked the old format very much. It was simple and easy to navigate.

Hello Uday. Thanks for you feedback. The new platform was designed with ease of use in mind. In fact, releasing the Beta to our Community was partly aimed at getting the Community acclimated to the new functions. Hope you get to explore the new platform and learn it well!

unfortunately, I don't get the "Show all Reputation" link displayed under my badges in Google Chrome. This seems to be the first bug I have to report.

Otherwise, I like the new "My Profile" page. The version in the traditional SCN with its tabs was a bit clumsy in comparison.

I like the clean and modern look of new SCN.

I have been using it only for few days and haven't been able to explore it much.

In current SCN, I find it easier to check out new HANA related blogs and questions but in the new SCN, I find it very hard to check the latest content.

For example, when I search for HANA, it shows me list of all the blogs that contain the word HANA - and many of which are not that relevant.

May be I am missing something and need to spend more time on the new SCN.

One more thing is that new site takes lot of time to switch between blogs, answers and activities links and always shows SSO progress each time I switch to these.

Hoping that new SCN will get better with as time goes on.

Hello Sajid,

by now I wrote my first blog on SCN beta and this went really smoothly. Since I am used to WordPress everything was kind of familiar.

I also like the concept of primary and secondary tags, which make the main blog topic more obvious and should improve search results.

However, I do not seem to have received my SCN Beta Tester badge yet. Is this only due to time lag, or am I missing something?
