I know the contest period ended on July 31 and you've been waiting to see the list of Topic Leaders. I just wanted to let you know that the list will come very soon. As previously explained, this time around was a bit different with two different systems and different areas to accumulate points in.
There was some manual work involved to map the point categories to the current SCN spaces but thanks to Richard Lin, a new intern in the SCN team, this has been done and the list is currently being finalized and reviewed.
I am about to take a nice vacation but Richard will announce the names of the 2011-2012 Topic Leaders latest by end of next week (August 16). Stay tuned and make sure you rich.lin and read his blog.
With a new SCN and more game mechanics to come, we will redesign this program to make it more appealing, to recognize expertise as judged by the community and to keep you informed on how you are doing and motivated along the way. I will be blogging about our gamification project soon.
