About me:

My name is Vivek SIngh Bhoj. I am a SAP HANA Consultant at Mindtree Ltd. I joined SCN in 2010 but i was never active here but since April this year i started participating actively and have got addicted to SCN now. As Ahmed, Jitendra and Marssel have already stated "SCN has become my social  network".

I was born in Almora(Uttarakhand), India. I am International Gold Medalist in Taekwondo. I won the international gold medal at World Taekwondo Festival,2004 held at Seoul, South Korea. I have also won many National and State Gold Medals in Taekwondo.Some of my pics:

My Hometown and my State:

Uttarakhand is a State in North India. It is often referred to as the "Land of the Gods" as many holy Hindu temples and pilgrimage centres are present here.

Two of the most important rivers in Hinduism originate here: the Ganga at Gangotri and the Yamuna at Yamunotri. Badrinath and Kedarnath form the Char Dham, a holy pilgrimage for the Hindus are also located here. The state has 12 National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries including Jim Corbett National Park, the oldest national park of the Indian subcontinent. The Valley of Flowers, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for the variety and rarity of the flowers and plants located here.

The state is divided into two divisions: Garhwal and Kumaon.

Almora is district in Uttarakhand and is located at the foothills of the Himalayas. It is called the Cultural Capital of Kumaon. Almora is mainly famous for its temples and cultural heritage. It is also famous for its Bal Mithai and Singauri.(both are sweets)

Questions I was asked:

What is your favorite season? Why?

My favorite season is Winter as i love playing with snow and the atmosphere when snow fall happens is awesome.

What is your next goal in your life?

I make only short term goals - and at present i just want to enhance my JavaScript and HTML5 skills for HANA Native Development.

Which is that thing makes you do good things in life?

Teachings from my parents and my teachers help me to do good things in life.

What are your Interests/Hobbies?

My hobby is playing Taekwondo. My interests are Customizing my Android phone(i change my home screen almost daily) and reading Manga.

I am a Manga addict. Everyday i wait for one of the new Manga Chapters to be released. The wait for Wednesday is special as that day three most famous Mangas new chapters are released. Most of us havw watched Dragonball, well it is also a Manga and the animation was based upon it. Similarly most of the mangas have animation series going on and Naruto is the most successful one with very high viewing rates even in U.S.

At present i am following 12 different Mangas.

The Big 3 are:

                                        Naruto - its a story about a Ninja

                                   One Piece - It is a story about Pirates

                                   Bleach - Its a story about Shinigami(Death God)

Do you love programming?Why?

I love programming as it makes you think out of the box. It takes a lot of effort to even write a small code and sometimes when you have written an awesome code it makes you feel very happy.
