My colleague marcusm, asked me to join his "Blog it Forward" challenge. I think it is a great way to learn the blogging process on SCN.
I am currently working as a Value Architect for Value Engineering in North America.
Here are the questions he asked me to answer:
What was your dream job as a kid?
I always wanted to be a professional soccer player. When I grew up the german soccer team was pretty awesome and in 1990 we won the world championship. I was wearing a Lothar Matthaeus Jersey with the number 10 and the only "non-german" player we all admired was Diego Maradonna. I played for a club in Germany for a long time but the focus shifted more and more towards the "3rd" half - I guess I wasn't ambitious enough to go all in for pro 🙂
What is your favorite place in the world?
I love to travel, so this is a very temporary statement. My favorite place really is Portugal. I love the nature there, the atlantic coast and the people. It is a piece of beach in Europe that is actually not yet completely overcrowded and touristic.
What was the most fun project you ever participated in and why?
I did lots of fun projrcts in my life so far, professionally and privately. It is really hard to single out a specific one. Typically the projects that come unexpectedly or the ones you are either scared of or you think it will become a complete distaster usually turn out to be the ones most fun.
In keeping the BIF going, I am asking the following questions:
