XSJS connection to ORACLE or SQL Server (XS Engine or XSA Advanced)

Hello Team,

I am able to connect to the HANA database using XSJS, but I am curious if there is an equivalent way to connect to the ORACLE or SQL Server databases using XSJS.

I also noticed that we have XS Advanced, but can it be used to connect to the SQL Server or Oracle Database?

I was not able to find internal information regarding this intent, so I guess, that SDI or SDA needs to be used here.

Hi Rahul,

I don't believe such configuration exists for non-HANA DB platforms when setting up the SQL connection for XSJS applications:
