Team,

How to write back the data to cubes based on the user profile.

We have Two Cubes.1 and 2 for countries Germany and Japan  along with the users 1 and 2 ,respectively.

How can we  take care of this for two planning cubes on a multiprovider  ??

Say,User 1 from Germany logs in and the data should be written back to Cube1.

Similarly.

Say,User 2 from Japan logs in and the data should be written back to Cube 2.

Request your urgent help on this....

Hello,

I think you can solve your issue by using authoristion. In analyse authorisation give cube1 authorisation to user1 and cube 2 authorisation to user2.

If you need any further help let me know.

Thanks.

Thanks a lot Anand.

Yes ,can you be more elaborative. The Scenario is that There is a Multiprovider with two planning cubes and the data should flow back to the respective cubes based on the user.

Can u explaing in details.CAn it be done through the a Table maintained for Auth or with FoX Formuals in Planning Functions or using Authorizations and Roles.

Hi,

where is the problem? A MultiProvider always has the characteristic 0INFORPOV. It seems that the users work on different cubes, so put the corresponding restrictions for 0INFOPROV in the filter and everything works.

Gregor
