Workzone hide card dynamically

Hi,

I would like to build a custom card for the SAP Workzone Standard Edition.

The card should display some news but in case there is nothing to show I would like to hide the card instead of displaying some generic content/ no data information.

I there a way to do this? I can set the visibility to false for the card in my component programatically but this will leave a gap in the layout on the workzone site as the container for the card remains on the DOM.
