Workzone Advanced - My Workspace template

I know that MY Workspace is a fully personalized space, but customers still want My Workspace to be customized out of the box. What should I do? Or is there a way to use a regular workspace as a personalized space?

Please give me an idea

(If that doesn't work, im also considering methods such as RPA or expedient methods using webhooks and launchpad plugins.)

Hi @wkpk! Hope you are keeping well.

According to About My Workspace | SAP Help Portal "My Workspace" is a personal workspace. If the feature is enabled, all users see the same default My Workspace and can modify it to suit their personal requirements with all enabled cards and widgets in the system.

All users can create their own workspace. However, there are some limitations as to what you can use it for and what you can add to it.

• Only you can see your My Workspace. You can't share it with others or add members to it.

• You can add documents, apps, and information that you use on a daily basis but you can't share the content with your colleagues or teams using feeds.

• Some widgets can't be added to My Workspace - for example, Forums or Events.
  
  This is also reinforced in KBA 3666301 - Is it possible to change the My Workspace default image for all users at once in SAP Build... which outlines that system currently does not support setting a custom default image for My Workspace at the global or administrative level.
  Users can manually update or replace this image after accessing their workspace, but administrators cannot predefine or push a different image to all users through configuration, theme management, or the Administration Console.
  
  Should you wish to see this behavior changed, please provide feedback to the Product Management team via the Influence Page where other customers will also have the opportunity to support your functionality request. Please raise an Enhancement request.
  
  

  To submit enhancement requests for Work Zone, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the SAP Customer Influence site, log on with your S-user and accept the terms of use.
  2. Depending on which Work Zone edition you use, navigate to:

      SAP Build Work Zone Influence Opportunity Homepage
  3. Open "All Requests" and search if your idea has already been submitted by another customer. If not, use the "Submit Improvement" button to create a new idea and fill in the relevant template.
  4. Take the opportunity to vote for ideas that you wish to support and plan to take advantage of in your organization. You will be notified on updates regarding ideas you have voted for.
