Hi Kumar!

I have heard about workflow deletion, but not about workflow clearing. Inorder to delete a workflow, select the parent workitem (the topmost workitem in the Workflow Log), goto 'Goto' menu -> 'Technical work item display', then goto 'Edit' menu -> 'Change', then select 'Logically Delete'.

With this, your workflow will be deleted logically.

Thanks,

Anwar.

Hmmm... when I think of workflow deletion I would think about the archiving (archive and delete) possibility. Logically deleting a workflow will always be "cancelling" to me.

Lots of options for Kumar.

Hello Kumar,

There are two types of workflow cleaning:

1. When too many people have pointed at things on your screen it ends up covered in fingerprints. This may be mistaken for a dirty workflow, but in fact is just your monitor. A screenwipe does the job.

2. If a work item or workflow is printed out and the paper gets dirty from a coffee mug or being dropped or whatever, then the simplest answer is usually to reprint it.

If however you are talking about Workflow <b>Clearing</b>, the look no further than the <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/88/8be338b46c4950e10000000a11405a/frameset.htm">SAP Help</a>:

<b>Clearing tasks</b>

The background jobs of the workflow system create job protocols that need to be regularly deleted. This task is performed by a report that is controlled by a background job. You can schedule or display this background job. You can also execute the report Execute clearing tasks manually.

I have never heard of EPN tool. I usually use Notepad, OpenOffice or M$-Word for my documentation.

Hope that helps,

Mike
