Withdrawn workitem not going from the UWL

Hi,

The user has withdrawn a workitem, but the workitem is still not removed from the UWL.

Let me know if there is any program to remove the workitem from the UWL.

Have the user click on Refresh.

Hello Aravind,

Do you mean, the user has cancelled execution of workitem? if yes, the workitem will remain in UWL till action is made on it.

If workitem is cancelled/completed by any means then it has to disappear from UWL. If this is your case, then try check the corresponding workflow instance log from SWI1, in case it does not exist there but present in UWL, it means portal refresh time needs to be checked.A portal person can help you in that case.

The user has withdrawn the process. Still the workitem is shown in the UWL.

     Also try to clear the UWL cache in portal apart from refreshing the workflow buffers in ECC.

If you provide screenshots of what the user is doing and what the user gets that might help. If the workitem is still there after the user refreshes his/her UWL as Rich suggested, then it means the workitem was not correctly withdrawn. Are you sure that the user is not just canceling processing of the workitem and thus keeping it in his/her inbox? Check the status of the workitem in the workflow log transaction SWI1. If the log says the workitem is completed or canceled but it still shows in the UWL, then you have a problem in your UWL that you need to check with your portal administrator.
