Hello
We have some manual processes that we would like to automate.
A typical process includes:
opening a web browser,
going to a particular web page,
logging in,
going to a specific report,
entering some input values,
running the report,
exporting the report,
opening the report in Excel,
calling a macro to process the data in the report, and
saving the report.
Recently, I came across SAP BUILD which can do robotic process automation. Better yet, it has a recording capability to record users' actions in using Windows applications.
Those all sounds good; however, we cannot use SAP BUILD.
A colleague mentioned SAP BAS that may be helpful. From my initial search, I did not find anything about it being able to record users' actions like SAP BUILD.
Questions:
1. Is it correct that BAS does not have a recorder like BUILD?
2. Even without a recorder, can we create an application in BAS to do what I have described above?
Thanks
