Win32 error2 on RFC Connection Test on a RFC-XI-SOAP Scenario

Hello Experts,

we established a connection between a R/3 4.6c and a XI. After testing the RFC Connection we received the following error message:

"Win32 error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.##"

We already found out that our 4.6c system doesn't understand unicode, but the XI does.

How can we configure the Receiver Adapter on the XI for an non-unicode system?

Does anyone of you have a how-to-guide or something alike?

you can mark that in the SM59 destination.

Do you have a more detailed description where? Do you mean on the XI or on the R/3 System??

Hi Phillip,

the destination at XI, which you use in the communication channel. You spoke about receiver adapter, so the message is invoked by XI and received by ERP. You can customize the destination, there is a checkbox for your case.
