Hello Experts
After Introscope Java Agent and Wily Host Agent push collected data from managed systems to wily, what is next?
Are the collected data only for viewing from Introscope WebView?
Or are they pushed forward to another process from wily within solution manager process?
Any reply would be appreciated!

Hi,
Different types of data and monitoring have different collectors. When it comes to the data shown in the workload analysis, mostly the data will be first collected by the Introscope Host Adapter or Introscope Java Agent(Byte code adapter) and sent to the Introscope Enterprise Manager. From there, the extractors in the Solution Manager will the data.
When it comes to the system monitoring, there can be different methods, part of the data is sent via Introscope Push, which is a push of data from the Enterprise Manager. See note 1751225 for more details about this.
There's also the Generic Push, which is a push done directly from the SMD Agent to the monitoring application in the Solution Manager, bypassing the Introscope EM.
You may also have different collectors in the monitoring side, like direct RFC calls. For any information about a specific metric in a specific scenario, you can access the following link in your Solution Manager: http://<Solman FQDN>:<ABAP ICM Port>/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/wda_ac_dir_browser . Here you can select the monitoring use-case(system monitoring, ICMon, PI Mon, UXMon, etc), then select a specific scenario configured, and specific metrics, then in tab "Data collection" you can see how this specific metric is configured.
Regards,
Daniel
