Will firewall affects while connecting to database table via SAP CPI ?

Hi all,

I am doing integration of databases from two different servers via Sap CPI , Will firewall affects SAP CPI to fetch database tables  while connecting to database table to fetch tables data from bussiness layer and send it to another database server. will sap cpi blocks data to fetch it from database due to firewall .

You need to provide more details about your setup: Which Databases, where are they located exactly?

On those two different DB servers firewall on? if it is yes, you have to take help from network security team to fulfill your requirement.

Consider using the cloud connector to enable Cloud Integration to connect to your database. Then they don't need to get a public IP or port.
