why users without access to invoices have access to DRAFT invoices (those pending authorization)

Hi, 

if I have users, dedicated to approve purchase orders, obviously, you have to give this user access to Draft documents, BUT, this user now have access to ALL marketing documents like invoices, not respecting the access policy.

Is this something we can avoid ?

Hi, 

this can not be controlled through authorization. Document draft report option is not available per marketing document type in general authorization.

Try controlling that through UI template instead.

Have you checked the General Authorizations?

Document Draft auth is located within the Sales A/R bracket, even so, it is supposed to serve all marketing documents. So you can set it up like the below and review the other brackets such as Purchasing - A/P.
